I directed the visual concept for Misfits In Every Journey, a black-and-white short film accompanying the spoken poetry of Michael Ekow. The piece translates his words into an abstract, experimental visual language using light, shadow, movement, and texture to reflect the emotional rhythm of the poem. The result is a moody, minimalist world where each frame echoes the themes of displacement, reflection, and inner resistance. It’s not a literal narrative, but a visual meditation that amplifies the spoken word.
